The most pointless exercise in arse licking ever held, specially given no major sporting events are shown on BBC any longer.
Harks back to the good old days when British sporting heroes were male, white and managed to defeat the greasy foreigners with a pipe firmly clenched between their teeth

Other than Konta I have not heard of any of the other women.

Desperately trying to make a woman win it.

I genuinely don;t understand why Kane is on this list. That's not a Tottenham issue, I just honestly do not know what the justification is on any level?

to be fair he's scored 47 goals in 2017

AJ and Hamilton are the biggest stars who have excelled in their sports. Think it will be one of them. Although Hamilton's tax affairs may cloud support.

Froome is knocking on the door. Although he is completely contrary to the word 'personality' and the fact that he is a god awful bore may go against him.

Farah is outside as he retired this year so could get a sympathy vote.

There are five names on the list of nominees that I've never even heard of, and then you've got Jo Konta who's done next to nothing.
It should be between Froome and Farah, but it looks as though it will probably be Joshua who's knocked over a knackered Ukrainian, and an unprepared Frenchman.

I always dish out Sports Personality as a perfect example of an oxymoron.

One of these:

; Sir Mo Farah - Athletics, Chris Froome - Cycling, Lewis Hamilton - F1,

i think what Froome has achieved is amazing - i'm not a cycling man but this guy deserves the prize. Mo 2nd, Hamilton 3rd.

Froome and Farah are probably most deserving along with Peaty.

It’ll probably be Joshua, Hamilton or Kane.

Can I also say that Froome should win this, but he has such an unassuming character I forgot about him.

Joshua or Hamilton .

Mo Farrah has never even got into the top three, that say's a lot as he is the greatest middle distance runner probably ever.
